This is their personal statement, but the BJP neither agrees with such statements nor ever supports such statements. The BJP completely rejects these statements.

JP Nadda said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party has always respected the judiciary, gladly accepted their orders and suggestions because as a party we believe that all the courts of the country including the Supreme Court are an integral part of our democracy and are a strong pillar of the protection of the Constitution. I have instructed both of them and everyone else not to make such statements.”

Earlier, BJP leader Nishikant Dubey had questioned the functioning of the judiciary and said, “Parliament makes the laws of this country. Will you give instructions to that Parliament? Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna is responsible for the civil war in the country.
At the same time, the Supreme Court is responsible for inciting a religious war. The court is going beyond its limits. If everyone has to go to the Supreme Court for all matters, then the Parliament and the Assembly should be closed.”

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, “Attempts are being made to weaken the powers given to the Supreme Court by the Constitution. He said that this is being done because the Supreme Court has talked about electoral bonds, Waqf law and the issue of Election Commission is pending before it.”
