Chahal & Dhanashree Divorce: Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma got divorced after 5 years. The Mumbai Family Court gave the verdict on Thursday. Yuzvendra and Dhanashree were present in the Mumbai Family Court. On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court ordered the Family Court to give its verdict on Chahal’s petition on March 20. A single bench of Justice Madhav Jamdar said that Chahal will not be available from March 21 as he has to participate in the IPL.
Both have been living separately for the last two and a half years. There is news of a settlement between the two for Rs 4.75 crore. Yuzvendra and Dhanashree got married on 22 December 2020.

Both stayed in the court for about an hour. Both were wearing masks on their faces. Dhanashree was wearing a white top and blue jeans with black sunglasses. Both did not talk to the media. They went inside the court room without giving any statement.

- Dhanashree Verma revealed about her love story with Yuzvendra Chahal during an episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa-11. She told that during the May-June 2020 lockdown, she had approached him to learn dance. During this time, both of them fell in love and got married on December 11 this year.
- The relationship between the two had deteriorated since June 2022. The news of divorce first came on social media. However, the reason behind their separation has not yet been revealed.
- After about two years, in February 2025, an application for divorce was filed in the Mumbai Family Court. The Family Court gave a cooling off period of six months. Against this, Chahal appealed in the High Court.
- The hearing took place in the High Court on March 19. On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court ordered the Family Court to give its verdict on Chahal’s petition on March 20.
