The Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah<\/a> reported that the remote location hindered fire brigade vehicles from reaching the site quickly. The chaos also led to a stampede, further complicating evacuation efforts. Bolu Governor Abdul Aziz Aydin said that 234 guests were staying in the hotel. 30 fire engines and 28 ambulances were sent to the spot. Authorities have also deployed 267 emergency workers to control the fire. According to reports, Turkey’s tourism and health ministers have left for the accident site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kartalkaya is a popular ski resort located in the Koroglu mountains, about 300 kilometers east of Istanbul city. At present, school semester holidays are going on in Turkey. Due to this, all the hotels here are very crowded. As a precaution, other hotels in this area have been evacuated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that an investigation has begun to identify those responsible for the accident. Every necessary step will be taken to punish the culprits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
